Meet Me
Hi I'm Elizabeth!
I am an accredited Social Worker /Counsellor in Beerwah. I have over 20 years’ experience providing therapeutic services and early intervention to children, adolescents, and their families. across a broad range of presenting issues, such as but not limited to, perinatal wellness, parenting support, grief & loss, separation, self-harm, friendships, and self-esteem issues.

I have a Bachelor of Counselling and a Master’s in social work. I consider it a privilege to work collaboratively with individuals as they navigate their way around life and the challenges that can sometimes be experienced. Having worked extensively in this space has really highlighted how unique everyone’s journey is and the importance of meeting each person where they are currently at in their own journeys. It is through this work I have a strong commitment to working from a client centred approach; where I see the individuals as the expert in their own life, never assuming to know what is best for them. I believe that we all have the capacity to grow and make changes, even though change can be difficult, sometimes it can be a little easier when we have someone to walk alongside us to help recognise and reach that potential.

I like to adapt my counselling approach to be the most suitable fit for the person entering the counselling space.
I am trained and experienced in facilitating a range of parenting programs – Circle of Security, Starting Strong, Bringing up Great Kids, Tuning into Kids, 123 Magic & emotion coaching, Seasons – grief & loss program
